What is a snow trigger?
It is the accumulation or condition that starts service under your agreement. A lower trigger usually means more visits and different pricing.
When will my property be plowed?
Timing depends on storm start, duration, accumulation, route position and contracted service level. During snowfall, the goal may be access before final cleanup.
Will you come more than once during a long storm?
Possibly. Repeat service may keep accumulation manageable and complete final cleanup. The agreement states how visits are handled and billed.
Is salting included with plowing?
Only when the proposal says so. Plowing and deicing are separate services, and materials and application areas should be defined.
Does salt guarantee bare, dry pavement?
No. Performance changes with temperature, precipitation, traffic and refreeze. It reduces risk but cannot eliminate every slippery condition.
What if vehicles are left in the service area?
Blocked areas may be skipped and later cleanup may cost extra. Moving vehicles produces a safer, more complete result.
Who handles pavement or landscape damage?
Pre-existing defects and hidden features create risk. Mark sensitive areas and review damage terms, deadlines and exclusions in the agreement.
Seasonal or per-visit pricing—what is the difference?
Per-visit cost varies with storm activity. Seasonal pricing is more predictable but still follows defined triggers, limits and terms.
